What is the Mogadore Summer Festival?

Every July, the Village of Mogadore hosts its annual summer festival - a multi-day outdoor event centered on great food, community activities, and support for local youth athletics. The organizing theme is simple: "Great Food. Fun Activities. Stronger Community."

Friday night is the highlight reel

If you can only make one evening, make it Friday.

The Dunk Tank is Friday only. Your chance to send a favorite Mogadore face into the water - coaches, teachers, community figures. The line moves fast. Come ready.

Fireworks close out Friday night. The festival grounds don't need much decoration when the sky does the work. Gather early, stay late.

Both events run within the regular Friday hours of 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM, so there's plenty of time to eat, browse the booths, and still be in position for the light show.

Saturday: the parade, the 5K, and a full day

Saturday is the festival's main event, running from 11:00 AM straight through to 11:00 PM.

The parade

At 6:00 PM, the Mogadore Summer Festival Parade steps off from the corner of Bradley Street and North Cleveland Avenue. The route ends at Somers Elementary. It's one of those parades where you recognize half the people in it - Wildcats athletes, coaches, local businesses, community groups. Stake out your spot along North Cleveland early.

The 5K run & 1 mile walk/run

For the early risers: the Mogadore Summer Festival 5K Run & 1 Mile Walk/Run kicks off at 8:00 AM at 3875 Curtis St, right next to Mogadore High School and Mogadore Memorial Stadium.

• 1-Mile Walk/Run: $11.60 - register by July 15

• Day-of registration is allowed but you won't receive a timed result or t-shirt (cash only)
